Amanda Sahakian

Amanda Sahakian brings exceptional clinical expertise and a deeply personalized approach to her role at BelleSante by Kristine Romine, MD. Her interest in health and wellness began long before her clinical career — she spent several years working in the nutrition and nutraceutical industry, a foundation that continues to inform how she evaluates the whole patient, not just the presenting condition. 

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Northern Arizona University. She further distinguished herself by completing the Diplomate Fellowship program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, reflecting her dedication to advanced, specialty-level dermatologic practice. 

Her clinical foundation is rooted in diagnostic dermatology, with a focus on the accurate and thorough evaluation of skin disease — from inflammatory conditions to skin cancer. Amanda is recognized for her expertise in dermoscopy and her commitment to comprehensive skin exams, including mole photography, to support early and accurate detection. She prioritizes unrushed appointments where patients receive her full attention. 

As a key member of the BioSculpt™ team, Amanda extends her expertise beyond the skin to evaluate the underlying hormonal, metabolic, and genetic factors that so often drive dermatologic conditions such as acne, hair loss, and chronic inflammation. When clinically appropriate, this integrative approach may include BioSculpt Hormone Optimization Therapy, individualized GLP-1 microdosing protocols, or genomics-guided insights — offering patients a more targeted path to results when standard treatments alone are not sufficient. Her continued advanced education in personal genomics, hormone health, and physiologic performance keeps her closely aligned with current evidence and established clinical principles, with an emphasis on recognizing patterns, understanding patient variability, and guiding thoughtful, evidence-based treatment decisions.

When not caring for patients, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, staying active, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and baking sourdough for family and friends.
