On treatment day, you’ll be welcomed into our tranquil treatment space where your comfort is our top priority. We begin by thoroughly cleansing your skin and applying professional-grade numbing cream. Then, we’ll use our ProFractional Smooth & Tighten handpiece to deliver carefully calibrated laser energy that ablates the epidermis and triggers collagen production in the deeper layers. Depending on your needs and the depth of treatment, it may feel like a rubber band is snapping against the skin, but this is generally well-tolerated. Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the experience is, especially with our comfort measures in place. Pronox, inhaled nitrous oxide and oxygen, is always available if needed to improve comfort and reduce any anxiety.
Recovery & Results
You’ll notice initial textural improvements within the first week, but the true transformation unfolds over the following three months as collagen remodeling continues beneath the surface.
