What Are Wrinkle Erasers (Neuromodulators)?

Types of Wrinkle Erasers (Neuromodulators)
Jeuveau™
Jeuveau™ – prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs – is a newer, more precise neuromodulator that has a very similar molecular size of purified protein as Botox. Jeuveau is made through a proprietary unique Hi-Pure™ technology, leading to more precision clinically. In head-to-head studies, the injectors and patients preferred Jeuveau™ at all study points, including longevity of action, as well as natural look and feel.
Botox®
Botox® – onabotulinumtoxinA – is a highly purified, natural protein that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botox® has been used successfully for decades for a variety of medical conditions and is an extremely safe way to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Dysport®
Dysport® – abobotulinumtoxinA – inhibits the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and is a neuromuscular blocking agent that improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. While similar to Botox® Cosmetic, some possible differences include time to effectiveness as some patients have reported seeing results quicker.
Your Treatment Experience at BelleSante

On the day of your treatment, you’ll be welcomed into our serene treatment space where your comfort is our priority. We begin by applying a topical numbing cream to ensure a comfortable experience. During this time, we’ll explain our unique comfort measures, including our soothing “TAP-esthesia” technique, calming CBD drops, and guided breathing exercises that help reduce any anxiety you may feel.
Dr. Romine or Sara Romine, DNP, FNP-C, will guide you through a series of facial movements so they can identify the optimal injection points. Then, using ultra-fine needles, your expert injector will administer the treatment. Many patients are surprised by how quick and comfortable the process is, especially with our advanced comfort measures in place.
Recovery & Results
After your treatment, you can return to most daily activities immediately. We’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions and schedule your follow-up appointment. While you can expect to start seeing the positive effects of treatment four to seven days after your appointment, sometimes as early as one to two days with Jeuveau, it is best to wait a full two weeks for final results. This subtle progression ensures natural-looking results that leave others noticing you look refreshed, but never obvious or overdone.
To maintain your results, we recommend scheduling treatments every three to four months as part of our BelleSante Skin Gym Exclusive treatment plan. Sticking to a consistent treatment schedule ensures your skin fitness is maintained and a return to your “baseline” is avoided.
