When you arrive for treatment, we’ll start by taking a good history to be sure you have protected your skin from the sun and provide you with special eyewear for use during the procedure. Then, we’ll pass the BBL HERO/HEROic device across your skin in a sweeping motion, avoiding the “stamping” patterns common with older IPL treatments. You’ll experience only “warmth,” which is very well-tolerated. With our advanced techniques and the device’s powerful built-in cooling to minimize any potential discomfort, no anesthesia is needed. However, we do have ProNox (inhaled nitrous oxide & oxygen) available as needed for comfort.

Each area only takes a few minutes to treat, but multiple passes may be used to ensure consistent and effective results. Areas that once required 30-45 minutes to treat can now be addressed in as little as five to 10 minutes, more safely with superior results.
